I have heard Pastor Murray say there are a few country singers that study with him. I know one of them is Loretta Lynn, but just out of curiousity does anyone know what others might study with the SC? I love country music and just curious.

I can't say for certian, but most of the "old time" artists made fairly regular appearances at the Grand Ole' Opera and often did several shows in Branson each year, many have their own show places in Branson now. I know they hear about the Chapel and many would visit and listen via radio on the road when they could. Carter Family, John Cash, Christy Lane, probally Dolly in her younger days. Most of the original "family" opera family that is, grew up in the smokies and there abouts, came from very similiar roots and were raised on the "good book". Loretta has a heart of gold.
